A seamless installation of outside lighting on this garage in Sherburn. This customer wanted outside lighting on their garage but didn’t want to see any wiring on the outside. They were also worried about the light fittings not sitting flush on the brick due to the beautiful uneven stone walls. So how did we get around this…..
We opted to install all of the cabling from within the garage using conduit to protect the cables and make it look neater on the inside. We then lined up our drills to drill from the outside into the garage for it to hit the right spot and not damage any of the stone work. And guess what… we got it spot on!
Next, we carefully chipped away at the stone work so that the bases of the light fittings would sit flush against the wall making the lights sit up right. This is not only vital for the aesthetics of the installation but it also helps keep the integrity of the IP rating of the fitting.
