This project had a full electrical design carried out by ourselves and full planning along with us liaising with Northern power grid for a supply upgrade. The new spa building was so much of an extra load onto the already busy electrical system that a new 3 phase supply had to be installed.
We then got to work installing a new 3 phase distribution board into the garage that would feed the clients existing house fuseboards and also the new Spa building. We then had to run 2 separate feeds supplies from the 3 phase distribution board to feed 2 sections of the spa. One was to feed the sauna and gym area and the other was to feed the Hot tub swim spa unit.
All the cabling was first fixed through all the joist work keeping it hidden and tidy. Then once the the building had been clad and boarded along with being plastered and painted we returned to carry out a second fix of the installation. We installed downlights throughout to generate a even spread of light, socket outlets for general use, Ice bath supply, sauna supply, swim spa supply and also a pump supply.
